Direct-to-surface UV printing systems for commercial floors, walls and architectural surfaces

Organized by what you buy today.

Nobody is deciding whether to have graphics. The decision is how they get produced. So this section starts from the purchase you already make, names what changes, and routes you to the numbers.

The substitutions

What this replaces.

Instead of printed vinyl and film

Today: printed material at roughly $15 a square foot plus install labor, a lamination lifespan, seams, and a replacement cycle of three to five years. Direct print puts ink in the surface with nothing to lift or bubble, at about fifty cents a square foot in material. The honest comparison, including where vinyl still wins, is on the vinyl page. Instead of metal, acrylic and PVC sign panels

Today: panels ordered per sign, per change, per site, with a lead time on every reorder. Direct print produces identification, safety protocol displays and equipment graphics on the surface itself, or onto your own secondary surfaces in the shop: metal sign blanks, panel stock and canvases, updated when the layout changes rather than reordered and waited on. Instead of painted markings

Today: striping and stenciled lettering, redone by hand, limited to what a stencil can do. The Floor Series prints full color zone marking, logos, wayfinding paths and court graphics directly onto the floor, repeatable identically from the file at every site. The buyers

Three ways organizations run this.

Contractors adding a capability

Flooring, commercial painting, epoxy and coatings, sign companies, tenant improvement GCs, facility services. You already sell surfaces and already carry the crew, the insurance and the book of business. The machine changes the cost structure on work you already quote: the court graphics you buy as vinyl, the printing you sub out, the jobs you decline. Model one job in the single job mode of the cost model, because that is how you evaluated your last piece of equipment. Model a single job · The machines.

Facilities producing in house

Plants, distribution centers, hospital systems, school districts, universities, municipalities, venues, hotel groups, fitness and dealership groups. Signage, wayfinding, safety marking and brand graphics currently bought across several budgets from outside vendors become a capability your own team runs. The whole path, from counting your real volume to the capital request to staffing, is written down. The facilities hub · Getting it approved.

Multi-location brand programs

Franchisors, restaurant and retail groups, national account brand teams. The problem is consistency and schedule across many locations, and the constraint is that franchisees pay. Single source production removes the variance and turns a rollout from a queue into a calendar. Same file, four brand blues · The graphics budget.

Industry guides in depth, floors first, are being published in sequence: athletic and court work, warehouse and plant marking, education, healthcare, hospitality, retail groups and municipal.
